HISTORY

Frank’s Group is a family-owned business that started in 1970 by Frank Marrazzo Senior, and is now presently owned by Frank Marrazzo Junior.  The company started with one facility on the north side of Edmonton.  Since then it has relocated to Nisku and has grown into a four plant industrial corporation in Nisku and Leduc area.  Frank’s long term employees are a large reason why the quality and workmanship of the company has been carried throughout the years.

Certifications

Frank's Group is a proud member of the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction and hold a Certificate of Recognition from the Alberta Construction Safety Association, and are certified under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.  By expanding to three locations and operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, we are able to provide added customer service.  We strive to be the most focused, resourceful provider of media blasting and painting services while still providing that personal touch with each and every customer.  It is both an honuor and a privilege to be chosen in the sandblasting category of the Consumer Choice Award in 2015. We will continue in our efforts to remain committed in both quality and service.

HEALTH SAFETY ENVIRONMENT

Safety Mission Statement

Frank’s Group is committed to the protection of all of its resources, including employees, vendors, contractors and guests, physical assets and environment, from any accidental loss or damage.  In fulfilling this commitment to protect both people and property, management will provide and maintain a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with industry standards and in compliance with legislative requirements, and will strive to eliminate and/or control any foreseeable hazards which may result in property damage, or personal injury/illness.

Frank’s Group recognizes and fully supports the employees' right to work in a safe and healthy environment.  All employees will be equally responsible and accountable for minimizing accidents within our facilities.  Safe work practices and procedures will be clearly defined in the Safety Manual for all employees to follow.  All employees can report unsafe work practices, tasks and procedures to any member of management for correction without fear of repercussion.  Accidental loss can be controlled through good management in combination with active employee involvement. Safety performance is the direct responsibility of all managers, foremen, lead hands and employees.  All management functions will comply with legislative safety requirements as they relate to planning, operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment.

All employees will perform their jobs properly in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices.  An injury and incident free work site is our goal.  Through continuous safety and loss control effort, we can accomplish this. The Health and Safety Program and its contents are developed through the communication and feedback of both workers and management.  The program and commitment will continue to evolve and improve through this partnership.

Donations

Frank’s Group is proud of the many organizations and youth teams that we have sponsored and supported throughout the years and are continuing to sponsor today.  On July 13th 2019, Frank's had the opportunity to be involved in the Nova Chemicals Annual Golf Tournament.  We had a "Chipping Challenge" to raise money for the Stollery Children's Hospital.  Frank's matched the amount of money that was raised.  Frank's would like to thank everyone who participated and donated, and a special thank you to Paul and Megan Andriuk, for matching our donation with a grand total of $3,320.00 to the Stollery.
